FAQ's

Where is the event being held?
At The Renaissance Dallas Hotel. It's a great venue with a beautiful view of the Dallas skyline that's not too far from either Dallas Love Field or DFW Airport.

Who should attend this event?
This event is designed for marketers and revenue-focused executives from real estate and mortgage companies, and fintech companies. Our theme is “Get More” and that’s our goal for each attendee. We want you to get more insights, more connections and more solutions at the conference so you can get more referrals, more market share and more profits when you go home.

How is the event organized?
We have two general sessions — with speakers Ryan Serhant and Chris Heller — and then seven breakout session periods with 20 total sessions based on the job functions and interests of those attending, with topics including B2B Marketing, B2C Marketing, Niche Marketing, MarTech and Compliance. There is some overlap so that attendees can attend whatever sessions sound interesting to them. There are also numerous networking opportunities, including meals, a cocktail party, sponsored dinners and specific networking breaks.

What is the executive track and who can attend those sessions?
There are four breakout sessions that are designed specifically for senior marketing executives, and any attendee in the c-suite will be invited after they register. These C-Suite focused sessions will focus on boardroom level priorities, including talent, business intelligence and data-centric marketing strategies.

Why aren't you calling this a conference?
Because we have intentionally set this event up for attendees to engage with speakers, vendors and each other in a less formal atmosphere, so that learning and networking come easier. For this reason, we won’t have an expo hall because we want marketers to be able to fully participate in learning and engaging, as opposed to manning a booth.

How are attendees going to interact with vendors if they don't have a booth?
Attendees will be able to set up one-on-one meetings with vendors through the Brella app and meet in designated spaces close to the sessions. We will also offer vendor speed-dating during some of the breaks so that attendees can quickly find out about some of the great solutions they can use to grow their business.

What is the dress code for this event?
Casual! No, really. It’s likely that your HousingWire hosts will be in jeans and possibly tennis shoes, even when they are presenting from the stage. We encourage you to be comfortable, whatever that looks like for you. We have a cocktail event and sponsored dinners, but those are also casual. One of the worst things about conferences, in our opinion, is that they don’t usually reflect the dress code that most businesses have now adopted. The fact that this event is in September in Dallas (it’s going to be warm!) makes this even more practical.

What are some of the topics?
We've got a full agenda of compelling topics, but here are just a few highlights:

  • The Realtor/Lender Partnership: Co-Marketing and Referral Relationships in a Purchase Market
  • Social Selling
  • Co-Marketing and RESPA Concerns
  • Leveraging Marketing Automation and Lead Gen to Grow you Business

My September event calendar is packed. Why should I attend engage.marketing?
For marketers and sales leaders, engage.marketing is an opportunity to work ON your business. Instead of leaving the event exhausted after days of working the booth and arranging client events, we’ve designed a refreshing experience for you to network with colleagues, learn from peers and relax in a boutique environment.

We're confident all attendees will return to the office with new ideas on how to be more impactful and efficient marketers and sales leaders.
